What would Christmas be without Ginger Cookies? With this cookie recipe from Paula at Live Free Gluten Free we can make some big pillowy soft ginger cookies. Those are the kind I always go for when I find myself in a gluten free bakery (which, I must say, does not happen nearly often enough).
Yesterday we had Snickerdoodles from Elle at Only Taste Matters and I told you about not having heard of the popular cinnamon sugar covered cookies until a short time ago. Today, we have Thumbprint Cookies from Linda at Gluten Free-Homemaker. To me, Thumbprint Cookies are a classic Christmas treat. I remember when I was little, my grandmother used the handle of a wooden spoon to press an indent into round discs of a buttery cookie dough and I helped fill the indents with a teaspoon of her homemade jam.
Elle from Only Taste Matters is a blogger that I recently discovered after I spotted her Cranberry Upside Down Cake on Savoring Saturdays (a weekly gluten free and healthy living linky party) where she is one of the hosts.
These Pumpkin Spice Latte Cookies from Rebecca at Strength and Sunshine could be a real conversation starter. Imagine the reaction you’ll get when you casually mention that you made cookies out of organic pumpkin flour. Say what? A flour made from pumpkins?
Sandi from Fearless Dining is one of several gluten free bloggers that I discovered through a Facebook forum. Love those blogger forums. Her blog is appropriately named, as her recipes really do live up to the ‘Fearless’ name. Week after week, Sandi adds new recipes to an ever-expanding collection on her blog.
Audrey from the Unconventional Baker is one of my favourite food bloggers. She’s definitely in my Top-5 list. Mostly because I love her photography. It gets me every time. Seriously, I drool shamelessly over everything she posts on her blog.
Just try telling me you would be able to resist diving in to a plate of these Chocolate Mint Truffles (aka Frangos). I go weak at the knees just looking at Tessa’s photographs. My brain screams WANT!!
I’m always excited when I get to ‘meet’ a Canadian food blogger who posts allergy friendly recipes. Davida from The Healthy Maven is one of those people. We first connected through FBC (Food Bloggers of Canada). Most of her recipes are gluten-free and dairy-free with some vegetarian, vegan and paleo recipes too.
I don’t remember where I first saw this recipe for gluten free Almond Flour Cookies in a Jar by Megan at Detoxinista but I do remember thinking it was a must-have recipe for this Gluten Free Cookie Advent Calendar.
