Recipe Roundup: Gluten Free Holiday Baking List And Stocking The Pantry

There are two things that I always have with me in the kitchen. One is my iPad, the other is a notebook. I use both to track recipe changes as I go along. I find the iPad and notebook useful to track site changes, upgrades and general bloggy thoughts and inspirations as they come to me and scads of lists. One list I make every year, is my Holiday Baking List and that leads to a list of ingredients I need to get my pantry stocked with and that in turn leads to a variety of shopping lists. Well, you get the picture…notes and lists and more lists.

Last week, I got out my iPad to make my Holiday Baking List when I thought why not make a blog post out of it? You might be looking for some inspiration, or want some gluten free versions of old traditional family favourites.

A word of warning here, most of the year I lean towards healthier, unprocessed, refined sugar-free, whole food recipes but when it comes to Christmas Baking, all bets are off…sort of…I still think its beneficial to stick with healthier reduced sugar options but I it’s okay to indulge in a little naughtiness, once in awhile. Everything in moderation, right?

Some of the recipes linked here use highly processed foods like marshmallows, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips and gasp, refined sugar. I know many of you are more committed than I am to the Whole Foods Movement, so when possible, I will try to give you options.

Important *** Please review the recipes listed here to confirm they meet your dietary requirements and remember, always refer to packaging labels for the most up to date allergy information.
